My name is Lisa Duffield, and I am a Pre-K teacher here at Quinton Township School. This is my first year as a teacher at Quinton, but I have been in the Early Childhood World for nearly a decade. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Writing Arts from Rowan University. After graduation, I worked as a Pre-K paraprofessional at Quinton for two years, filled a long term sub position in basic skills, and then worked as a Pre-K teacher in another school district for six years. I am excited to be back at Quinton Township School!
Pre-K is my favorite grade to teach because I just love how excited the children are about everything. Their curiosity and enthusiasm is contagious, and I enjoy helping them discover a love for learning. In our classroom, we become a family. I'm very excited to get to know all of the students this year and to see how much they grow from September to June. The early childhood classroom sets the stage for a child's academic career, and I am committed to helping each child thrive.
