Welcome to my classes!

 

My name is Mrs. Hunt, and I've been teaching for almost 7 years, all of which have been here at Springfield High School.  I graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2011 and completed their teaching certification program in 2013.  I'm currently attending LSU online and working toward a master's degree in Educational Leadership, so I'm right there with you when it comes to navigating this virtual learning boat!  I'm married to my husband, Eric, and we have a two-year-old daughter, Scarlett.   

 

I'm so excited to begin this new school year with you.  There are a lot of changes this school year that we will all adapt to.  First and foremost, I will need to be able to get in touch with all students and their parents/guardians due to the virtual nature of this school year. 

 

 

For students: We will use Google Classroom for teaching and learning this school year.  Please download the Google Classroom app on your smartphone or tablet, or take your Internet browser to classroom.google.com, and enter your class's code to join your class:

• 5 subject notebook OR 3-ring binder with loose leaf paper (your preference)
• Ink pens (blue or black)
• Sticky notes (at least two different colors and LOTS of them)
• Highlighters (at least two different colors)
