                             Who am I?

I have been a lifelong resident of Penns Grove and Carneys Point and have always dreamed about returning to my home school district to teach and give back to my community.

After graduating from Penns Grove High School in 2003, I attended Salem Community College where I earned my Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts in 2005.  I then transferred to Rowan University, earning Bachelor's Degrees in Elementary Education and History in 2009.  Returning to Rowan University in 2012, I earned my Masters Degree in Special Education in June of 2015.

I have been employed in the Penns Grove - Carneys Point Regional School District since September 2009, where I was hired as a Paraprofessional at Lafayette-Pershing School. In December of 2013, I transferred to Penns Grove High School as a Special Education Teacher.

My professional credentials include having standard teaching certifications in Special Education, High School Social Studies, Middle School Social Studies, and Elementary Education for grades Kindergarten through 6th, as well as certifications in Pre-School and English as a Second Language.

Also, I have always had a passion for acting and the arts and have been involved with Oakwood Summer Theatre since 2004.  I enjoy drawing, going to New York City, and spending time down the shore.  Of course, I love Philadephia sports and am a huge fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Eagles.
