About Me!!!

 

I am Ms. Picou and this is my 5th year teaching at Garrett Middle and 6th overall year teaching Mathematics. I was born in Oakland, CA., but have live in Georgia for 22 years. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Georgia State University and my Master's Degree in Middle Grade Education with concetration in Mathematics and Social Studies from Mercer University. 

 

I am a mother to a very active 2 year old and I am also a distance runner. I look forward to another great year in the classroom along with sharing some of my skills and runner knowledge while coaching Girls On The Run for the first time!
