2nd graders have been working on reviewing the primary colors, lines, shapes, and patterns with the artist Roy litchenstein. We created our own compositions and used our creativity to turn the paths into things like slides, rivers, and roads!
Now we are learning about symmetry and experiementing with color mixing while learning about Pegasus. We will be brushing up on our scissors skills and glue skills as we cut out and glue our projects to our constallations backgrounds.
Next up, we will be drawing monsters that we can send to the high school. The ceramics students at NPHS will be create sculptures from our drawings! They will be very neat!!
