CLASSROOM RULES

 

 

1) LISTEN AND FOLLOW DIRECTIONS WHEN FIRST GIVEN.

I should not have to repeat myself.

2) NO INTERFERING WITH THE TEACHING AND LEARNING OF OTHERS.
Do not disrupt your peers.

 

 

3) RAISE HANDS AND WAIT TO BE CALLED ON.

Do not talk out of turn.

 

 

4) RESPECT PERSONAL SPACE, RIGHTS, AND PROPERTY OF OTHERS.

Being courteous, kind and respectful in the classroom is a MUST.
Do not interrupt while others are speaking & allow everyone the opportunity to express their opinion.

Disrespecting others (BULLYING, HARASSMENT, INTIMIDATION) WILL NOT be tolerated and disciplinary actions will take place.

5) BE PREPARED.
That means you show up on time, in full uniform, ID around your neck with all necessary materials and assignments for the day (textbook, notebook, workbook, homework, folder, and pen/pencil).
Read ALL assigned materials and have homework completed.

Homework is expected to be done at home.

This is all a part of your Class Participation grade which will reflect your lack of preparation.


6) LATE WORK
Late work will be accepted, but 10 points are taken off each day that it is late.
After ONE WEEK to make up homework, work WILL NOT be accepted.


5) MAKE UP WORK/TEST
If you are absent, you must make up test/quiz THE FOLLOWING DAY.
Any work not made up after that time will result in a ZERO.

 

6) ELECTRONIC DEVICES
Cellphones can not be used during class time as per the Student Manual.
Pictures and video recording is NOT PERMITTED.

 

 

7) I AM HERE TO HELP YOU.
Make sure to ask questions often and early.

Do not wait until the day of an assignment or test.

 

 

8) DO NOT QUESTION YOUR GRADES AT THE END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR.
Your grade should be a concern ALL year long.
