Hi, my name is Ms. Chrissy Williams, and I am very excited to be your child’s math/ELA (skills) teacher for year 2022-23. I thought I would tell you a little background about me. I have one daughter, who has blessed me with two wonderful grandchildren, and a cute little dog named Denver.
I have a bachelor’s in general science and a Master of Criminal Justice from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. I continued with a Masters in Alternative teaching from Louisiana Tech. I have a master’s plus 30 in education, this is my 10th year as a classroom teacher, and my 14th year in education.
I am a math content leader for our school district, and a member of our school ILT (Intructional leadership team). I was Minnie Ruffin's teacher of the year for 2020-2021. I would like you to know how dedicated, and enthusiastic I am to have the opportunity to teach your child. I am dedicated to my job, and you can always feel free to contact me with any concerns or issues.
In my free time I enjoy reading, watching tv and spending time with my friends and family. I know that this will be a time full of learning, not only for the students, but for me as well! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you for this opportunity!
