I am a graduate of Stockton University, where I majored in and earned a B.S. in Speech Language Pathology & Audiology in 2002. In 2007, I earned my M.A. in Instructional Leadership from Argosy University and then earned my Ed.S., Educational Specialist degree, from Seton Hall University in 2013. In 2015, I completed the Speech Upgrade Program at Kean University, and received a Master's Degree equivalency for School Speech Language Specialist.

Previously, I worked at a private special needs setting for over 10 years, where I gained extensive experience providing speech and language services to students ages 3-21 years old.  Along with holding a N.J. Dept. of Education- Speech Language Specialist certification, I also hold Preschool-Third Grade certification, Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing certification, and am fluent in American Sign Language (ASL). Aside from working as a speech language specialist, I volunteer my time in a non-profit mentoring organization for young women ages 11-21 years old, in the greater Essex and Union County areas. Within the organization, I serve as program coordinator, board member, and facilitator of various workshops, along with mentoring. I am also a mom to two wonderful kids, who keep me busy.
