7:55am - 2:10pm

 

Students may begin arriving at 7:30am

 

A student will be marked tardy at 7:55am, regardless of how long the paent pick up line is.

Caloosa Elementary School is very proud to be one of the first schools in Lee County to establish our own Sunrise and Sunset program to assist our working parents with affordable day care.  Our staff consists of Caloosa teachers and paraprofessionals who take great pride in providing a safe, fun and educational environment. Morning hours are from 6:45 a.m. until 7:30 a.m. The cost for the morning program is $2.00 per day, per child.
 

 

After School Program

 

2:10 PM- 6:00 PM

 


The cost for the 2015-2016 Sunset Program is $10.00 per day.  Our program continues to offer homework time, computer lab, game room, arts and crafts and outside play.  Parents are only charged for the days they use.

Breakfast is served in the cafeteria from 7:30 - 7:50 each morning

Cost - $0 - FREE for ALL students

 

Lunch - You may send a packed lunch with your child each day or choose to have your child eat our school's lunch.

Cost - $0 - FREE for ALL students

 

 

Milk is included with your child's lunch. If you would like your child to purchase a milk to go along with their lunch from home it will be .40 cents.

Caloosa is a Uniform School

 

 

All Caloosa Students follow a uniform dress code. If you choose one uniform piece from Column A and one uniform piece from Column B, you are uniformed!

COLUMN A  (Main Uniform Piece) COLUMN B (Uniform Shirt/Blouse/Sweater)
  • Navy Blue or Khaki (PLAIN, NO flowers, NO stripes, NO emblems, NO denim)
  • Choose solid white, yellow, red, or navy blue.  Shirts MUST have a collar.
  • Pants-relaxed or classic fit.  NO BAGGY pants.  NO nylon or parachute material.
  • Short or long-sleeved golf style shirts.  PLAIN.  NO flowers, stripes or logos.
  • Shorts-finger tip length or longer, no baggy shorts.  NO nylon or parachute material.
  • Short or long-sleeved button down collared shirts.  PLAIN.  NO flowers, stripes or logos. 
  • Skort-finger tip length or longer
  • Short or long-sleeved blouse. PLAIN.  NO flowers, stripes or logos. 
  • Pleated Jumper (PLAIN)
  • Cardigan Sweater (optional for cooler weather ONLY)
  • Jumper (PLAIN)
  • Pullover v-neck, crew-neck, or turtleneck sweater (appropriate for cooler weather ONLY)

  • Caloosa sweatshirt and sweatpants (in cooler weather)
 
 
  • Students will be able to purchase a School Spirit shirt that can be worn every Friday with uniform bottoms. Jeans are NOT permitted. School Spirit shirts are sold in the office.
  • Students not following dress code will be asked to contact parents and provide appropriate clothing. If parents cannot be contacted, children will be asked to change clothes for the day with clean clothes from our Recycling Shop.
  • Shoes must be athletic type or dress shoes with closed toes and backs.(No sandals, crocs, or shoes with skates.)
  • All clothing, including jackets and sweatshirts, must be of appropriate length, size, and fit.
  • For cooler weather, navy blue or khaki long pants are recommended, but no jeans.
  • Caloosa sweat shits are acceptable to wear which are available in the school store, however, we do suggest a collared shirt underneath so the sweatshirt can be taken off when the temperature warms up.
  • No make-up, bandanas, glitter, artificial fingernails, or tattoos are permitted. Colored hair and spiked mohawks are also not permitted.
