I have approximately 25 years of international experience with the LSU Agricultural Center and 5 years experience with Schaffer Global Group.  I have worked in the field of education for over 12 years, working in the classroom (in East Baton Rouge Parish and West Feliciana Parish) and for the Louisiana Department of Education as a teacher certification counselor and a teacher leader advisor.  I have worked in a number of countries as an agricultural economist including Honduras, Egypt and Nigeria as well as many more.  I have trained extension agents, farmers, rural developers, and rice processors from over 70 countries.

 

I have a B.S. in Geology (1989), Louisiana State University; a M.S. in Agricultural Economics (1999), Louisiana State University; and a M.S. in Vocational Education (2002), Louisiana State University.
