Remind App...
This is a way that you (parent) and I can communicate throughout the school year (other than email). You can do this via personal computer or smartphone. I will post homework, pictures of notes, upcoming events, helpful hints, etc. You can ask a direct question to a post, or to me, personally. Every comment/post is private- meaning, only you and I can see it/read it. You can also ask me questions regarding homework, or other issues, after school hours. I just ask that you do not ask any questions past 8:30 p.m. Simply go to Remind.com or download the app onto your phone (royal blue box with white thinking cloud).
I do understand that a lot of my students prefer to type their homework, or even projects, at home. Feel free to email the assignment/project via email and I will print it out for the student prior to class time. Please send the information as a Word Document and NOT Word Pad.
We also do projects on Prezi.com. Your son/daughter sets up their own account, but he/she will need a working email to join. If they do not have one of their own, I do ask that a parent allow him/her to use their email. Be advised that they will not have access to your email. If your son/daughter forgets their password, the request will be sent to you. I do have an account for those who need one and their parents to do not have an email. Problem being, it is shared and other students have access to it.
