WELCOME! For the 2023-2024 school year I am teaching 8th grade ICS for Math and 7th grade Resource for LAL and Math. I am also the advisor for the Safety Patrol.
I was born and raised in Alloway, attended Woodstown High School, and Salem Community College. After SCC, I attended Wilmington University for my bachelor's dregees in Ealry Childhood and Elementary Education. While teaching in Bridgeton Public Schools I attended Rowan University as a graduate student to take English as a Second Language and Special Education classes. 2021 is my 15th year at Alloway Twp. School as a special education teacher.
I have been happily married for over 29 years. Kevin and I have no children, except our St. Bernard / Newfoundland named Godiva and our new Great Pierneses/Beagle mixed puppy, Elsa. We camp, race a 4x4 truck, four wheel in the Pine Barrens, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia, and enjoy time on our boat fishing.
I am also the VP and Coordinator of the Halloween Parade in town.
It's a great feeling knowing I grew up here and can help teach students, that were just like me, get the most out of their education at Alloway Twp. School.
