3rd Grade Supply List

Language Arts: All Students

-2 wide-ruled, 100 page composition notebooks (labeled with student’s name inside front cover)

-2 two-pocket folders (1 green, 1 blue)

-1 package 3x3 Post-it notes*

 

Math: All Students

-1 wide-ruled, 100-page composition notebook (the marbled type comp books.)

-1 two-pocket folder, labeled with student’s  name. Please have the students label the other folder “Math Centers,”  which will be left at school. The larger, laminated/glossy type of folders will last longer. 

 

Science/Social Studies: All Students

-2 wide-ruled, 100-page composition notebooks— one labeled Science and the other Social Studies with student’s name on both

 

Mrs. Mortimer’s Homeroom Students:

-Earbuds or comfortable headphones labeled with student’s name 

-2 Elmer’s washable glue sticks*

-1 bottle white Elmer’s glue*

-1 box 24-count Crayola colored pencils*

-1 box 24-count Crayola crayons*

-2 low-odor dry erase markers (any color)*

-2 boxes Ticonderoga pencils*

-2 large pink erasers* 

-2 highlighters, chisel tip*

-1 two-pocket folder (labeled with student’s name and “Home Folder” on the outside and on the inside, please label one pocket "yours to keep” and the other "please return" to help students organize their papers. Papers from both teachers will be sent home in this folder.) The larger, laminated or glossy type will last longer. 



Mrs. Acton’s Homeroom Students:

-Earbuds or comfortable headphones labeled with student’s name

-1 box of no more than 24 crayons

-2 boxes of Ticonderoga or Dixon pre-sharpened pencils

-1 box of no more than 24 colored pencils or Twistables

-2 large pink erasers 

-1 pack of low-odor dry erase markers(blue or black)

-1 spiral bound notebook (The cheap ones are fine, usually can be found for 25 cents)

-1 pair of scissors

-4 large glue sticks(one per marking period)

-1 large pencil pouch

-1 box of markers is optional

-1 two-pocket folder (labeled with the student’s name and “Home Folder” on the outside and on the inside, please label one pocket "yours to keep” and the other "please return" to help students organize their papers. Papers from both teachers will be sent home in this folder.) The larger, laminated or glossy type will last longer. 

 

***Starred supplies are for community/shared use in Mrs. Mortimer’s room for Language Arts. Mrs. Acton’s classroom will not be using community supplies and her homeroom students will be using individual pencil pouches. Supplies for Mrs. Mortimer’s homeroom students while in Mrs. Acton’s class for Math will be provided and supplies for Mrs. Acton’s homeroom students while in Mrs. Mortimer’s class will be provided. 

 

We will also gladly accept donations of baby wipes, Kleenex or any soft tissues, and hand sanitizer.
