Children’s Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (CMRSS)

• Home, school or community field response available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to help children and youth who experience emotional or behavioral crises. The services are designed to defuse an immediate crisis, keep children and their families’ safe, and maintain the children in their own homes or current living situation within the community.
• Responds to mental health/ behavioral crisis within 1 hour for children 3-21
• Stabilizes youth and family through linkage to formal (Intensive In-Community Clinician and/or Behavioral Assistant) and informal supports (up to 8 weeks of support from CIS and linkage to resources then transition out or to a different level of care as needed)

FCIU provides immediate assistance to Warren County children ages 5-17 and their families experiencing serious problems with
child/parent relationships (e.g., truancy, runaway and family conflict) and:
• Offers short-term crisis stabilization, case management and linkage to other needed services
• Provides services in all 3 Family Guidance office locations, families’ homes and schools throughout Warren County
• Works through the Family Court to have services mandated when necessary
DSS provides round the clock response to Warren County adults and children experiencing a psychiatric emergency

• Family-run, county-based organization that provides direct family-to-family peer support, education, advocacy and other services to family members of children with emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Provides free workshops on topics such as support for parents/caregivers, parenting skills, advocacy, special education, legal guidance and financial literacy
• Provides English and Spanish speaking support groups
• Provides a weekly youth advocacy support group known as the Youth Partnership (YP) program

• Responsible for investigating allegations of child abuse and neglect and assessing for child welfare concerns. If necessary, DCP&P arranges for the child's protection and the family's treatment needs.

• Ensures permanency through intervention services, reunification with biological parents, adoption or other legal means.
