My name is Amosha Heckard. As we begin a new school year, I am filled with excitement, gratitude, and optimism for the journey ahead. It is an honor to welcome our teachers, students, parents, and community members back to school.

After serving 30 years in the classroom and now entering my second year as Curriculum Coordinator, I remain deeply passionate about education and committed to supporting the success of every student. My years as a teacher taught me the importance of strong relationships, high expectations, and a shared commitment to learning. Those lessons continue to guide my work as I collaborate with educators, families, and students to ensure that every child has access to meaningful and engaging learning experiences.

As we move forward together, let us embrace each day with a spirit of collaboration, respect, and excellence. By working as a team, we can create a positive school environment where every student feels valued, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential.
