Do I need to buy a rest mat?

No, a towel works very well, and is easy to store.

How should I send in lunch money?  Snack money?

Lunch money should be placed in a sealed and labeled envelope (child's name, grade, purpose of money).  You can buy a lunch ticket for up to a month, ticket will only be used when your child buys lunch.  Snack money is separate and must be carried by the child each day if he/she chooses to buy a snack.

What do I do if I want my child to leave the school in a different manner than usual (bus, aftercare, walkers)?

The school needs to receive a note written to the teacher, explaining how and with whom your child should leave with.  If you forget to write a note, a call to the main office will also be acceptable.  Your child will not be able to alter their leaving format without a note or a phone call.

How do I get in touch with my child's teacher?

Your child has a folder that will go home every day. I check it every morning.  You may write me a note and place it in the folder, you may email me, or you may call me and leave me a message.  I will respond as soon as possible.

Can I send in something special for my child's bithday for the class?

You may send in a snack for the class but it has to be something from the approved list of snacks.  This list is on the school website and if you have any questions, please contact our school nurse, Mrs. Cifelli.
