Dear Parents/Guardians,
My name is Mr. Cassy, and your child is enrolled in my Mathematics class for this academic year. I am looking forward to a productive and engaging year ahead. My goal is to provide all students with a challenging yet enjoyable learning experience that supports their academic growth.
Mathematics is an important and rigorous subject. To support student success, a variety of resources will be available throughout the year. Homework will be assigned on a regular basis, typically most days. Students are expected to come to class prepared each day with a single-subject notebook, as well as blue or black pens and pencils.
I have high expectations for all students and encourage them to take responsibility for their learning. Your support is greatly appreciated, please check in with your child periodically to ensure that assignments are being completed and concepts are being understood.
I am available to provide extra help after school and during my preparation periods. In addition, students can access their textbook and other helpful materials online through Pearson Realize.
