This course emphasizes technical skills and producing artistic projects through the use of a camera. Digital cameras are used and studied in this course. Activities include the study of the history of photography, the physical make up of the camera, lighting, choosing subject matter and computer aided image alteration of digital images. The evaluation (critique) of photographs are also included.
