Dear Terrrific Third Graders,
Welcome to Third Grade with Miss Young! I am very happy and excited to have you in my class and on Team Young! I know we are going to have a wonderful year together. This year you will learn many exciting topics such the American Revolution, multiplication, division, cursive handwriting, and much more! As you prepare for the first day of school, here are some supplies I would like for you to bring the first week of school:
- A T-shirt to use as a smock for Art labeled with your name and a plastic bag to keep it in
- A small photo of you that does not have to be returned (to be used for Student of the Week)
- A healthy, nut-free snack every day
- Two books of your choice
- A homework folder labeled with your name
- 2-3 pencils and a pencil case
- Headphones
- You may also bring in personal supplies.
- Provided for you by your teachers are: folders, notebooks, an assignment book, and other everyday school supplies like crayons, pencils, scissors, etc.
