Les Oeufs Vert Au Jambon, Dr. Seuss

     On March 2nd and 3rd, all of the Communications classes celebrated "Read Across America" by reading "Les Œufs Verts au Jambon" (Green Eggs and Ham) in French. The students learned how the translated version was written with the intent that the words mostly rhymed. They were surprised to see such words like boat and goat (chevreau et bateau) actually rhyme in English as well as French. Students were able to easily translate the story based on their prior knowledge of the story as well as the use of the words in a repetitive manner.
