HAPPY NOVEMBER!
Mrs. Crincoli
First Grade
Room 13
We have a busy month ahead and look forward to lots of learning and fun! This month we have parent teacher conferences, so make sure to sign up for a time to meet with me. I look forward to speaking to you about your child's academical, social, and emotional progress this year. On November 11th, we have our Barnes and Nobel Reading Night! Come check out your favorite teachers read and take the opportunity to buy some new books!
In Reading, we will continue working on learning comprehension strategies and applying them to our weekly stories. In addition, we will continue to increase our oral reading fluency and word recognition. In writing, we are working on our personal narratives. I look forward to seeing the students' progress as we move into our second booklet. In Math, please continue to practice math facts at home as we will learn different strategies in class to assist with this. In Science, we are moving into our Light and Sound Unit. This is one of my favorites! I can't wait to investigate in class!
