HOMEWORK POLICY:
- At Drum Point Elementary School, we are proud to promote independent reading so that each student can learn to love literacy while increasing fluency and comprehension. To achieve our goal, we are asking for your support in encouraging your child to engage in independent reading every night. We feel strongly that this initiative will support our students in becoming lifelong readers. There may be additional homework assignments to support individual student needs throughout the year, however in Grade 3 are regularly recommending uninterrupted reading 20 minutes per night.
