First Grade School Supplies for Ms. Bauer’s Class

 

For our first grade class, each child will need TWO view binders, which have a plastic sleeve cover as shown. One will be used to hold poems and other reading activities.  The other will house our finished writing.

 

Please purchase two in the following size:

* 1/2” hard-cover view binder (Do not buy a bigger size as it will not fit.)

 ~Please write your child’s name on the inside of each binder.

 

 

Students will also need one of each:

 

* sock for use as a dry eraser (or small dry eraser)

* inexpensive set of wired headphones in a labeled, ziplock bag ~Please label headsets as well. No ear buds, please.  

 

 

It is recommended that your child bring the following supplies to school for their own personal use:

 

* 1- box of 24 count Crayola® crayons

* 1- 8 count Crayola® Broad Line Washable Markers

* 1- 12 or 24 count Crayola® Colored Pencils

* 4- Elmer’s® All Purpose Glue Sticks

* some #2 Pencils

* child scissors

I have found that a gallon size ziplock/slidelock bag works best for holding all coloring supplies

*small pencil case to hold pencils, scissors, glue, eraser

*pack of 100 index cards, size 3x5 (lined or unlined, any color)

 

~Please do not purchase or send in any extra folders or notebooks as this tends to confuse students. A homework folder will be supplied for each child.

 ~Please label all supplies with your child’s name.
