September 2026
Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,
Hello and welcome to Miss Tierney's fifth-grade ELA/SS class! I hope your summer has been wonderful and that you are ready to SOAR into the new school year! My name is Miss Tierney, and I will be your Language Arts/Social Studies teacher this year, and Mrs. Hayden will be your teacher for Math and Science.
I am extremely excited about this year and what it has to bring! We will work hard to become not just better students but better overall people. We will learn how to communicate better with one another, make smart choices, work as a team, and be the best we can be in all aspects of life :) We will also be working hard to achieve our reading and writing goals, as well as learn about various important events and how they have shaped us today.
I hope you enjoy the end of the summer and I cannot wait to meet you all!
Miss Tierney
