Thank you, boys and girls, for visiting this page to get to know me, Mrs. Rohe. Three words/phrases to describe or sum me up are adventurous, knowledge seeker, and care-giver.

Adventurous: The world is full of beauty. My legs have been a wonderful tool in taking me to some wondrous places in the United States.  I have hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and back up, biked 65 miles in one day through the covered bridges of Pennsylvania, and felt the wonderful mist on my face from Niagara Falls. If it exists, I want to see, feel, and experience it.

Knowledge Seeker: I believe firmly that when you learn to read you gain the ability to do anything you want to do, go anywhere you want to go, and be anything you want to. I am a reader and therefore I can do , go, and be anything I want to be. If I want to fix the tractor tire, not a problem, a book can show me how. If I want to go to Italy, not a problem, I can travel there as the pages of a book come to life in my imagination. If I want to be a great cook, not a problem a book can teach me everything I need to know. I am a reader. Don't be surprised if you see me laying on the floor in the library with books surrounding me. Come sit with me because I like to share my books.

Care-giver: My greatest happinesses have come from taking care of others. Taking care of others gives me purpose and makes me feel good about myself. I have a wonderful husband, lots of nieces and nephews, and two cats, named  Tiger Lily and Scrappy. They need lots of care: especially my cats. Like my cats and sometimes relatives, they are very curious and get into mischief. So don't worry if you are curious, full of mischief, or just need extra care because it would make me happy to take care of you too.
