Hello!  I am Sarah Brown, and I am so excited to be your child's third grade teacher. I wanted to tell you a little bit about myself.  This is my twelvth year teaching at South Harrison.  I have taught both first and third grade at the school.  This year is my tenth year teaching third grade, and I love every second of it!

 

   I attended Rowan University and received my Elementary Education degree.  In addition to my teaching degree, I also have a Bachelor's in Writing Arts.  I took many writing courses in college, including Creative Writing and Writing Children's Stories (my personal favorite class!).  I am very eager to share what I have learned with my students.

 

   My husband and I have two sons. Reed is nine years old and Jax is five years old. Reed is quite adventurous and keeps us on our toes while he rides his bike, dirt bike, and scooter. Jax is following right in his footsteps, although he has developed a love for soccer as well! We also have a black German Shepherd named Chief. He just loves chasing our boys around while they play.
