The teaching strategies implemented in this self-contained classroom are based on the principles of applied behavior analysis. Students work individually with an instructor or in small groups to address IEP goals and objectives. Each student has a daily data sheet which identifies the target goals and objectives being addressed. Data is collected and graphed to assess progress on student performance for each goal. IEP goals and objectives are embedded into group activities and daily routines.
