¡Hola! me llamo Señora Hame and I would like to welcome you to a great year of fun and learning a second language. This website is a work in progress, since I will continue to post website links to better assist students in their second language acquisition education. Please scroll down to the bottom for weekly homework updates. Homework is posted on a weekly basis. Assigned homework will only appear on this website in 3-4 week intervals, so please check back often; as they will not appear if assignment is over 4 weeks old. Please be sure to check back often, so you don't fall behind in completing assignments. Thank You ; )
On another note: It is important that students expose their ears to Spanish programs at home for 10 minutes at least 3 times a week. Suggested programs are: Dora la exploradora, Diego, El Perro y El Gato, movies changed to the "Spanish version", You-tube videos, Google Español, Spanish radio stations, or whatever you enjoy! You should not try to comprehend what is being said, but watch the pictures as cues and let your brain absorb the language. Listening and watching Spanish programs will help you recognize and hear the language in a natural setting. You will be amazed one day, when you will actually begin to comprehend what is being said.
Hola is hello, adios is good-bye! Spanish is fun, so give it a try!
¡Gracias!
