Students will use a variety of learning styles in learning Civics:

  • Debates and class disucssions

  • Notes

  • Games

  • Videos

  • Projects

  • Tests and quizzes 

  • Students  will utilize:

    • Maps

    • Timelines

    • Charts

    • Graphs

    • Primary Source readings

  • In particular, there will be a heavy emphasis on writing throughout the year and debating, in a non-judgemental manner, controversial issues. 

  • Additionally, there will be interdisciplinary projects will enrich students’ understanding of the materials and ultimately enhance student achievement.
