About Me

My name is Rachel Moss McDonald.  Taught at Westside for 8 years and this is my second year at Walker Junior.

I attended Walker Lower Elementary (Kindergarten), South Walker Elementary (Grades 1st to 5th), Walker Junior High, and Walker High School.

I attended Southeastern Louisiana University and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Social Studies Education.

I  recevied my Masters from American College of Education to received in Curriculum and Instuction.

I have a wonderful husband, Chris, who works in the industrial field.  We have a handsome little man named Luke.  Luke made 6 in April.  We have a beautiful daughter Julia.  She made 3 in February.  They are the joy of our lives.

We have one puppy named Thomas and three chickens (Spirit, Blue, and Charlie).

My mom works at Walker High School and my dad works in the industrial field.  We attend Open Door Baptist Church and enjoy travelling and family time.

I am so excited about meeting and getting to know each of you.  It is going to be a great, fun 2021-2022 year.

I love Keyboarding and Quest, I hope by the end of the year you will too.

If you have an questions please e-mail me at [email protected].
