EDUCATIONAL & CARRER BACKGROUNDS
I am a 2003 graduate of Kaplan High School. I attended the University of Louisiana-Lafayette and graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science/Pre-Law with a Minor in Criminal Justice. In August of 2007, I returned to ULL to pursue a certification in Secondary Education with a concentration in Social Studies. I received that certification in 2010. I became employed by Iberia Parish School Board in 2010, where I taught for two years. I have been in Vermilion Parish since then, and am enjoying all the opportunities that have been afforded to me. I am currently highly qualified to teach grades 4-12 in both Social Studies and English Language Arts. I am currently working on my Master's Degree in History through University of Louisiana at Monroe.
CURRENT ENDEAVORS
This year I have the pleasure of returning to Rene Rost Middle School. I have oneJourneys to Careers elective and 5 sections of 8th grade Louisiana History. I am also the RtI chairperson, Social Studies Fair coordinator, Beta Club sponsor, Student Council Sponsor, and 8th grade social chairperson
