GRADING POLICY: All students will start each Trimester with 100 points. We will be grading the students on the two measurable target areas listed below.
Preparation and Responsible Behavior
Student displays effort, willingness to do their best and demonstrates character, leadership, sportsmanship, and cooperation with classmates, teammates and opponents. Student is properly prepared for each lesson wearing appropriate clothing and sneakers. Point deductions are as followed:
Improper Behavior (-5 Points) No Sneakers (-7 Points)
Unprepared Sneakers (-2 Points) Unprepared Dress (-2 Points)
Gum (-2 Points) Failure to follow classroom rules (-2)
Participation, Skill and Content
Student displays a growing level of skill and knowledge of the daily subject matter. Students demonstrates growth in learning and shows a willingness to follow instructions and improve skills. Point deductions are as followed:
No Participation (-7 Points) Below Average (-3 Points)
Little Effort (-5 Points) No Effort (-7 Points)
Movement Skills and Concepts (-2 Points)
