Dear Parents,
Happy New Year to everyone. I hope you had a great holiday and I hope this new year finds you great joy and health. We are excited to start a new year.
We will start the Restaurant Theme. Children will learn new vocabulary- register, waiter/waitress, server, dishwasher, menu etc. They will learn the different roles in a restaurant such as a customer, waiter/waitress, dishwasher, server.
We will also discuss Martn Luther KIng and how he wanted peace and for everyone to be treated the same
Please ask your child open ending questions at the end of the day. Like, "What did you do today?" What was your favorite part of the day?" "What did you learn today?"
Reminders:
There will be a half day Wednesady January 14, 2026. The doors will open at 1:20.
On Monday, January 19, 2026 there will be no school in observance of Martin Luther King.
