I am so excited to meet every one on our first day of school, Thursday, September 7th.  I am excited to start a new year. We are going to have so much fun with our learning this year.

HELPFUL HINTS

  1. Your child should be able to attend to bathroom needs completely. Please send in a complete change of clothes in a labeled zip-lock bag in case of an “accident or spill” during the day.
  2. Everyday your child needs to bring a backpack with their folder and lunch box in it.
  3. Please label all your child’s belongings: lunch boxes, water bottles, backpacks, etc.
  4. Your child should bring a PEANUT FREE snack and lunch each day. A drink or drinks should also be included.
  5. Students may opt to bring lunch from home or purchase the school lunch. School lunch menus and options are listed on the district website or the lunch menu sent home each month. If your child is buying lunch please send a note in their folder stating they are buying lunch. You may opt to bring cash each day or put money on their lunch card.
  6. Every Monday, please send your child to school with a labeled refillable water bottle. The water bottle will stay in school for your child to use through-out the week and on Friday they will be sent back home to be cleaned and then sent back on Monday.
  7. Any change in your child’s normal dismissal procedure must be accompanied by a written note to the teacher in the morning.
  8. Except for “Show and Tell” your child should leave all personal toys at home.

Drop-off and Pick-up Procedure

  • Students are to be dropped off in the morning between 8:10 and 8:15 am. Please park in the Middle School wing lot and walk your child through the main entrance of the building into the cafeteria where there will be adult supervision prior to the students being dismissed to their teacher.
  • Students are to be picked up in the main lobby or right outside the main lobby between 1:35 and 1:45pm. Teacher will dismiss each child upon their parents or the person picking them up arrival.
