Michelle Ferretti
I have been teaching in the Pleasantville School District for 19 years. Most of that time has been spent teaching in the Middle School. I was a 7th-grade English teacher for 7 years. Then I became a special education teacher. I have taught in regular education, inclusion, resource, and self-contained classroom settings. I have taught both the Social Studies and English curriculum.
I received my Bachelors degree from Rowan University in 1999 with a focus on Education and Sociology. I then received my Masters degree from Stockton College in 2008, focusing on Special Education.
I have two wonderful children at home; an independent fifteen-year-old boy and a feisty twelve-year-old girl. When I am not working I spend my time with my kids. I also enjoy reading, shopping, and spending time outdoors when it is warm. The beach and Disney World are two of my favorite places to go.
I love being in the classroom and find time flies by quickly. We are constantly learning in many different ways. I understand that each child learns differently and I will strive to do my best to support each of your children.
