I provide reading and writing resource room instruction as well as math consultation for students in grades 2, 3, and 4.  Instruction is designed to meet students’ individual learning needs while reinforcing and developing the skills necessary for academic growth. I utilize district-approved resources, including McGraw Hill Wonders/WonderWorks, Raz-Kids, Amplify, and the University of Florida Literacy Institute (UFLI), to support instruction in decoding, phonemic awareness, reading comprehension, and fluency. Students are expected to come to class prepared each day with their spelling journals, take-home folders, and fully charged Chromebooks. They are encouraged to participate actively, follow classroom routines, complete assigned work, and demonstrate respect for their classmates and teacher. My goal is to provide a supportive, structured learning environment where all students can build confidence, strengthen their literacy skills, and experience success.
