I wanted to take this time to introduce myself.  I graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a degree in pre-law and then went on to Montclair State University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a dual Masters in Elementary Education as well as in Special Education.  I am currently a doctoral candidate at Saint Peters University obtaining my doctorate in Special Education and Leadership.  It is my mission to see each and every child enjoy school as well as to succeed.  I am experienced and trained thoroughly in Applied Behavioral Analysis, Wilson Reading, and the Lucy Cawlkins method.

In my classroom, I like to utilize assistive technology such as our smartboard and math manipulatives, such as base ten blocks.  I also like to use the Wilson Reading Program to help with their reading and sounding out syllables.  I find these wonderful educational programs useful and worth while in the classroom.

As well as my love of teaching, I am an accomplished cellist and pianist and have been playing for twenty-three years (and counting!) I play for various orchestras, but what I love most is that I get to utilize my love for music in my classroom.  In our classroom, we have a music section where students will get to play with different instruments and listen to music.  I find that music is essential to learning and will get to experience it in the classroom as well.
