My name is Trish Yard and I have worked in the Brigantine Public School District since September of 2011. While in the district, I have taught 3rd and 4th grade, as well as 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Math. Currently, I am thrilled to be teaching 5th grade Math!
I graduated from Stockton University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, certifications (Highly-Qualified) in Middle School Mathematics and Middle School English/Language Arts, and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Before teaching in Brigantine, I had a long-term substitute position, teaching math in grades 5-8 and Pre-algebra & Algebra.
What I am most proud of is being nominated as Brigantine North Middle School's "Teacher of the Year" for the 2017-2018 school year.
