My name is Trish Yard and I have worked in the Brigantine Public School District since September of 2011. I started out in the Brigantine Elementary School as a 4th Grade teacher, where I worked for 4 years. I then moved over to Brigantine North Middle School in 2015 to teach Middle School Mathematics. Currently, I am thrilled to be teaching 4th grade Math, Science, and Social Studies!
I graduated from Stockton University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, certifications (Highly-Qualified) in Middle School Mathematics and Middle School English/Language Arts, and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Before teaching in Brigantine, I had a long-term substitute position, teaching math in grades 5-8 and Pre-algebra & Algebra.
What I am most proud of is being nominated as Brigantine North Middle School's "Teacher of the Year" for the 2017-2018 school year.
