As a Teacher of ELA, I have numerous duties.
--The first and most important duty I have is ensuring the safety of all students. I guarantee you that the administrators and staff take the security of our building seriously. If you see anything unusual or you are just not sure about something, contact an administrator or staff member right away.
--Another responsibility I have been charged with is teaching 9th through 12th grade ELA. A syllabus for each class can be found under the Syllabus tab on the main page. I am here to help every child I service make personal gains this year and find success.
--I also take student daily attendance for homeroom and each class. Daily absenteeism and daily tardies are kept track off by the administration and the attendance team. Please see the district's policy on school attendance. Visit www.attendanceworks.org for more information as well.
---Additionally, I am charged with making sure that each and every student I service wants to come to my class every day. We will have a very laid-back atmosphere in my classroom, yet the students will be challenged like they never have before. We will work as one unit to help everyone find dusccess.
