Services:
- Your child will be seen in either 30-minute intervals (K-8) or 45-minute intervals (9-12) once a week during an elective course, not during core classes.
- Students will be in individual or small-group sessions consisting of 5 of fewer students.
- Students will pick individual projects in their preferred medium to explore their personal creativity. The student will receive individualized instruction based on their areas of interest. Students will also focus on skills that were identified as weaknesses on their state evaluation.
- The teacher will present students with scholarship contests in which participation is optional.
- Any student interested in submitting art portfolios for a contest will be aided by the Talented teacher.
- The parent will meet with the Talented teacher once a year to redefine program services and check on student progress. A progress report will be sent home every 9 weeks briefly summarizing student progress. The teacher can be easily contacted via E-Mail or phone to answer and questions you may have.
