The beginning of a new year has begun!

Hello, my fellow parents and guardians!

My name is Mrs. Jennifer Scott.  I am excited to start my twelfth year at Pine Prairie High Schoolas an Administrative Assistant.  I am a native of Ville Platte, LA where I graduated from Ville Platte High School with honors.  I received my bachelor’s degree at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA, and obtained my certification
for Pre-K to 3rd grade and Masters of Art in Teaching at Louisiana College.  I am married and have two sons and a daughter.  In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and listening to R&B and Gospel music.

Throughout the year, one of our goals is to teach our children the rules and procedures of Pine Prairie High School. In order to make sure that our mission statement holds true, we must implement rules and procedures to maintain a positive learning environment for all our students.  These rules are not only for managing behavior, but they will also help students understand the positive and negative consequences that occur when they choose to make the wrong choices.
This discipline teaches responsibility and accountability for your own actions.

I look forward to seeing your child this year, and please do not hesitate to contact me at PPHS at 599-2300 to set up a conference.
