LETTER TO FAMILY MEMBERS AND STUDENTS
Dear students and family members,
The Health and Physical education team at Pleasantville Middle School is working from our online resources and our school site web pages to help you stay physically active and healthy while our schools are closed. In order to meet the health and physical education goals during this time, students must attend classes daily, participate each day and complete any classwork assignments given by his/her Health/Phys Ed teacher. Keep in mind, activity time doesn’t have to happen all at once. You can add up your total activity throughout the day to equal 40-60 minutes by filling out a fitness log. (I will explain) Then, turn the finished log to your physical education teacher by using Google Classroom on the specified date. Extra credit can be awarded for those who participate in physical activities outside our virtual class time. Your physical education teachers would also like you to visit the file links from their classroom webpages to join their Google Classroom. You need to be in your teachers Google Classroom in order to see and complete ALL assignments that are to be done at home. Thank you for your cooperation. Stay active and stay well.
Sincerely,
Your Physical Education Staff
