Welcome to 4th Grade!

 

My name is Miss Yakimec and I am SO excited to be your teacher this year!

 

I hope you enjoyed your time off this summer; I did!  I spent time with my family and friends, cross stitched, and read a lot!  I was fortunate to be able to go to Long Beach Island for a few days and enjoy a nice change of scenery!  I've also spent a lot of time getting organized and ready to begin fourth grade with you.  :-)  I know we will have a great time learning and growing together!

 

Did you know I grew up in Long Valley and went through the Washington Township school district, just like you?  I even attended Flocktown Road School when I was in 3rd and 4th grade!  

 

After finishing high school, I double majored in elementary education and mathematics at The College of New Jersey.  In January 2017, I completed my Master's degree in Instruction, also through The College of New Jersey.  Since I began teaching, I have had experience teaching first, second, third, fourth, and fifth grade.  I've taught fifth grade, third grade, and fourth grade here at Flocktown Road School.  I am thrilled to be teaching fourth grade again this year!
