Hello First Grade Friend!
I am so excited to be your teacher! I have been teaching for many years but am always trying to learn something new. This is going to be a great year. I have so many books to share with you and I know you will become independent readers and writers. We learn how to add and subtract and much more this year. It is going to be a year full of making friends and learning new things.
I love to read, garden, and swim in the ocean. I have two daughters, Grace and Katherine. Mr. Schaffer, the girls and I love to go for long walks with our dogs Callie and Tuck. We also love to go to museums, play basketball, and do yoga. I can't wait to learn about each of you!
