Hi, my name is Nicole Dempsey. I am the teacher of the 3rd Gifted and Talented program here at Slaybaugh. Our multidisciplinary gifted program will take students on an exciting journey across many topics. We will cover topics such as mythology, creativity, and electricity. Student interest will also lead us to many more topics to explore! While working within these topics students will incorporate technology, problem solving skills and so much more.
I am also the teacher for our Primary Enrichment Program (PEP). I work with each first, and second grade class. I will expose them to problem solving and thinking skills in a whole group format. Students that excel in the whole group lessons will be pulled out for small group activities that focus on that skill. There will be a fall and a spring pull out session for first and second graders.
