TEXTBOOK WEBSITE:  WE ARE AGAIN USING THE Big Ideas Textbook series.  All students can gain access using the Clever app on their chromebook.

STUDENT EXPECTATIONS:

All students must be prepared for class.  This means having a pencil and a 3 ring notebook/binder with blank paper inside.  All notes, homework, and worksheets must be in this notebook/binder at all times.  It is suggested to keep the items in order according to date so you can more easily reference material before a test or quiz.

Help is available!! • Tutoring center is available during your lunch.  After school tutoring is available also for any subject.  See your counselor for details.

Homework (30% of grade) Homework will be posted daily on google classroom.  All work must be uploaded to google classroom by 7:00 am the day after getting the assignment.  So if you are given an assignment on Thursday then it is due Friday morning by 7:00 AM.  All work must be  shown clearly in the uploaded pictures in order to get credit. If the work can not be seen clearly, no credit will be given.  I use the free version of the Cam Scanner app and upload as a pdf.  You can also use the Files app on the iphone to scan the entire document. Work turned in late will not receive credit. Late means any work not uploaded to google classroom by 7:00am. • Work must be shown, numbered, and organized on your paper. Work must be neat enough that I can read it to grade it!!  • Homework will be graded based on completion, not correctness. To earn full credit, ALL assigned problems must be completed. Writing the final answer without showing work or without completing all parts of a question is not “completion.” Writing a question mark in the space is not “completion.” • Keep completed homework in your notebook/binder. Math homework is a great study tool for quizzes and tests. The more organized you are and the better notes you take, the better your grades will be. • If you are absent from class for any reason, notes and any homework will be posted on google classroom for you.  Do not assume just because you are not in class that we haven't moved on.  Try to stay up to date as much as possible. If you have extenuating circumstances and are not able to keep up please reach out through email to let me know.
