Welcome to 6th Grade- We Are PANTHERS!
Just a few reminders:
Absent- It's your responsibility to find out what you missed and make up the work. Class doesn't stop because you aren't here. Sorry!
Assignments Due- Assignments need to be turned in by the due date for full credit. Late assignments will lose 1 pt. for each day late. Accidentally forgot, a late grade is better than a zero.
Use Study Hall wisely- Support/Study Hall is for making up missed work, studying, and doing homework. If you were absent and have missing assignments you should not be going outside for Support. Stay in and make up your work.
Our goal this year is to get back to learning and be as productive and conscientious as possible
The Big Ideas online textbook can be accessed through Clever. Select the e-book once on the Big Ideas site.
Class Supplies for Math
One binder- for class handouts (one binder can be used for all classes)
Binder options: One 2" binder for all classes, 2 binders (one for AM classes and one for PM classes), or a 1" binder for each of your core classes. The decision is up to you.
A binder for math class is NOT an option! Everyone needs a binder to keep handouts and homework.

Tabbed Dividers - for your binder if sharing with multiple classes
Colored Pencils
Pencils and pens
Looseleaf Paper
Earbuds or headphones - No AirPods allowed
Chromebook tech issues - you will need to go to the LCC during AM homeroom or Study Hall
If you are absent from class for any reason you should be checking Google Classroom and asking a classmate about what you missed.
When you return to school be sure to check in the "While You Were Out" folder to retrieve the handouts you missed. (These folders are color-coded by class Period and hang in an organizer at the front of the room.)
Period 2 - Red

Period 7 - Blue
Period 8 - Purple
