Critique

On a weekly basis present and describe thier artwork in front of their peers. Students in the "audience" then offer positve feedback.

 

Reflection

Students write reflections of their artwork upon completion of a project.

 

Sketch Assignments

Third thru Fifth grade students are required to complete 1 sketch per week. If they are early finishers, they may have time to work on these assignments in class, otherwise sketch assignments become homework.

 

Visual Arts Projects

Visual arts projects  based on art history and the elements and principles of art. Students are introduced to famous artists, materials, and methods for art creation.
