K-4 School Counseling Program
The elementary school counseling program focuses on the implementation of a comprehensive, developmental model that addresses the academic, social/emotional, and career needs of students. Counselors work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents to provide services ranging from prevention to crisis management. Counselors are specially trained to provide a variety of services including classroom lessons, individual and group counseling, consultation, as well as appropriate referral services. The counselors strive to promote and maintain a highly approachable, visible, and supportive role within the school community.
