Dear Parents and Guardians,
I am looking forward to working with you this year. Second grade is such an amazing year and you will see your child grow in so many ways.
Our classroom has many materials that your child will need throughout the day. I will provide glue, scissors, pencils, crayons, and pencil boxes, to name a few. The following is a list of suggested items that your child will need for the first week of school:
- a sturdy homework folder
- a one-inch hard binder
- a reusable water bottle
- a daily snack (nut-free)
-headphones/earbuds (not wireless please)
- a 4x6 or 5x7 photo of yourself to use on the Student of the Week board this year
Students will receive an agenda in second grade to write down their homework and any special announcements.
Enjoy the last few days of summer and get excited for a new school year to begin! I will be waiting with a big smile to meet your child on the first day of school, Wednesday, September 4, 2024.
